The Norwegian prog rock band Magic Pie are finally back with their excellent new album “King For a Day” on Karisma Records on the 25th of May.
The band was formed in 2001, and their previous three albums “Motions of Desire” (2005), “Circus Of Life” (2007) and “The Suffering” (2011) was very well received by both the press and fans. All three albums will be re-issued by Karisma Records later this autumn on both cd and vinyl (for the first time).
Magic Pie has become a household name for progfans around the world with their blend of classic prog and 70's hard rock inspired by bands such as Spocks Beard, Dream Theater, Genesis, Pink Floyd, The Flower Kings, Transatlantic, Kansas, Deep Purple, Yes etc.
Fronted by bandleader and guitar supremo Kim Stenberg, the band are known for their epic, energetic, melodic and sometimes heavy prog rock with splendid vocal harmonies and great musicianship.
Hailing from Moss, Norway, the band consists of songwriter and producer Kim Stenberg (guitars, vocals), lyricist and melody co-writer Eirikur Hauksson (lead vocals, guitar), Eirik Hanssen (vocals, guitar), Jan Torkild Johanssen (drums), Erling Henanger (keyboards, backing vocals) and Lars Petter Holstad (bass, backing vocals).

EU: We are registered with the IOSS (Import one stop shop) portal in the European Union for reporting and paying EU VAT. All orders with a total goods value (excluding VAT) under the 150 € IOSS threshold, are processed through this system to simplify import procedures. In most cases this will mean that you get your package directly with no further ado. However, some countries have additional tariffs that are applied in addition to VAT. These are subject to payment by importer/customer. Orders with a gods value exceeding the 150 € IOSS threshold are subject to VAT processing and payment during import. These costs will be invoiced by freight forwarder to importer/customer.
Norway: VAT is charged per order and your package will, unless you select shipping from our EU location, be sent from Bergen.
Other countries: Orders are subject to local import tax and tariffs to be paid by customer/importer.
